Professionalise you image with your
own business email address!

Tip It's rare to find an organisation or business that doesn't have their own web site and a snappy web address to go with it - we have www.gbsport.org.uk as our address of course.    As part of owning this address, we also have as many email addresses as we like with the @gbsport.org.uk suffix, which makes our email presence look polished and professional.   The ability to do this comes when you own your domain name and all you then have to do is configure the email addresses.

However, we regularly come across organisations and businesses in sport who don't use the email part of their web address for their business emails, using their own personal email address instead.   I'I'll give you an example.

Meet Ted Marford.  Ted has a wonderful web site - www.marfordcoaching.com - and his email address should therefore be ted@marwoodcoaching.com to complete that professional image for his business.   What he actually has is ted1243@tesco.co.uk.   Not such a polished image and it's like this because Ted doesn't know that he has access to his web site email addresses.

If you are like Ted and you want to start using your web site address, contact your web site expert and get them to set up as many addresses as you will need.   You can set it up yourself if you have access to your hosting provider account - log in, select your domain name account and you should see an option to set up the email addresses.

Your final step is then to configure your email programme to send and receive emails via the new address.   YouTube is a good place to look for a quick tutorial on how to do this - click HERE for some examples.

YOu can also configure your personal email account to send out and receive emails from your business email account - see YouTube for examples of how to do this.

Another alternative is to get us to set this all up for you for a small fee - call us on 01952 620099 for details.   Good luck!
