Mike is the Chief Executive of GBSport and is responsible for the development of our training courses and computer software. He has over thirty years experience as a management and IT consultant during which time he has worked for organisations such as Lloyds Bank, BMW and leading sporting organisations.

Mike is a qualified Level 4 tennis coach and has run successful coaching programmes in various parts of the country. This has given him first hand experience of the issues and challenges faced by those working and volunteering in sport.

Alison is the Events Manager at GBSport and responsible for the logistics involved in staging the GBSport training programme and the smooth running of the Telford office.

Alison has previously worked in various sales and customer service roles, particularly in publishing. She has also had considerable volunteering experience in sport, having held various committee positions at a number of sports clubs.

John is the accounts and tax guru at GBSport, a Chartered Accountant with a proven track record in developing and managing both emerging and substantial businesses.  He has held a number of board level finance and general management positions and over the past 10 years has built up a professional practice providing accounting, taxation and company commercial services, with a particular emphasis on the sports market.

More recently he has developed an interest in the not for profit sector and has worked with a number of organisations advising them on tax, constitutional and commercial matters.

John has been involved with sport throughout his life both as a participant and administrator, holding a variety of voluntary positions alongside his business interests and is currently Deputy Chairman of Avon Lawn Tennis Association.

Michelle is the management accountant for GBSport, working closely with John Fuller, ensuring that clients are supported across the full range of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services. She has worked within a number of businesses as internal accountant and bookkeeper and now uses this experience to ensure that clients keep fully up to date and compliant in all aspects of their accounting and financial record keeping.

Alongside her accounts role, she also provides hands on training to clients who need help establishing and running their own bookkeeping systems and procedures.

Michelle keeps both body and mind fit by regular visits to the gym and is a keen supporter of Newcastle United FC, her husband’s home team.
